Freshmans Dance Crew is a group under the umbrella of Fresh Movement Dance Company.

Freshmans are a group of dancers and choreographers who are pushing to create a new vibe in the Street Dance scene in New Zealand.

From competitions to theatre, Freshmans have a goal to explore uncharted territories in the Street Dance industry with a goal to create sustainable pathways for performers to get career opportunities.

Our History

Freshmans Dance Crew is under the umbrella of Fresh Movement Dance Company which was started in 2012 and quickly became one of New Zealand's most prominent fixtures in the Dance arena.

In 2014 they captured multiple national titles and represented New Zealand at the HHI World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas.

Upon returning from the world championships, Freshmans began to branch out and experiment with new ways to explore movement. From there they started to explore the theatre realm and continued to push for success in the competition sphere.

Freshmans have a unique and alternative approach to urban movement which gives them a fresh and infectious vibe.
